Wordle Town is in no way affiliated with the NYTimes' Wordle. We are just big fans of the game, which itself is based on the TV game show Lingo. And this site is simply a place to practice it in numerous rounds.

The Story behind WordleTown

Do you remember the year 2021? In October of that year, Josh Wardle released the game Wordle for the first time.

It was a huge success right from the start. And in the months that followed, it became more and more popular. In 2023, for example, it had been played nearly 5 billion times.

From the beginning of this online sensation, we were avid word puzzle players. Every day we sat down to puzzle and try to find the solution word. That is how we developed our passion for the game.

Eventually, we decided to create WordleTown: A place where you can play the game we have grown to love. But we did one thing differently: Here, you can play an infinite number of rounds of the word guessing game - for endless fun.
